PROJECT OVERVIEW
Treehouse is a vibrant bar and restaurant destination located in Hessle, East Yorkshire, designed to offer an experience that evolves throughout the day – from relaxed brunches and social lunches through to evening cocktails, entertainment and nightlife. The venue combines dining, drinks and social experiences within one destination environment.
DEN Interiors were appointed to transform the space into a hospitality venue that felt distinctive, atmospheric and experience-led. The brief focused on creating a memorable customer journey that would encourage dwell time, increase social interaction and establish Treehouse as a destination venue within the local area.
The interior was designed to support multiple customer experiences whilst maintaining one cohesive identity throughout the venue.
DESIGN CONCEPT
The design concept was inspired by boutique hospitality interiors, combining layered lighting, statement finishes and experiential design to create a venue with strong visual identity and atmosphere.
The aim was to create a space that transitioned effortlessly from daytime dining to evening entertainment. Warm finishes and relaxed seating areas create an inviting daytime environment, whilst feature lighting, rich textures and layered materials introduce a more energetic atmosphere as the venue moves into evening service.
Instagrammable moments and focal features became an important part of the concept, helping create memorable experiences and encouraging customer engagement with the space.
The overall design balances comfort, functionality and atmosphere whilst supporting the operational requirements of a busy hospitality venue.

The completed Treehouse interior delivers an immersive hospitality environment that successfully combines restaurant, cocktail bar and social destination into one experience-led venue.
The design provides flexibility for different styles of service whilst maintaining a strong visual identity throughout. Customers can enjoy a relaxed daytime environment before the venue transitions into an energetic evening destination with cocktails, music and events. Treehouse has become an established hospitality destination within Hessle, offering dining, drinks and entertainment within one cohesive interior experience.
